Before your treatment:
Remove mascara and eye makeup. The individual lash extension will be applied to your own lash so mascara needs to be removed so that the natural lashes are easily accessible.
If you have very fair eyelashes, it is advised to receive a lash tint 24 hours before the lashes are applied as they and the adhesive are black.
Contacts must be removed before the treatment.
After your treatment:
It can take the eyelash adhesive up to 48 hours to set properly so it is important that you do not get any water on your eyes during this time.
Avoid any creams, eye makeup removers, lotions, sunscreens or cleansers containing oils on or near the eyelashes. Oils can loosen the bonds of the extensions. Care must be taken when applying cream to the eyes, avoiding the lash line area.
Avoid oil-based and waterproof mascara. You should not need to wear mascara with the extensions but if you wish to, you can use a specially formulated mascara for extensions that does not damage the bonds. Or you can use a water based mascara that can be easily removed with water.
Avoid rubbing or pulling your lashes.
Do not use eyelash curlers on your extensions.
Be gentle with them.
Tanning Care:
Exfoliate to remove dead skin cells.
Shave / wax 24 hours before your tan.
Do not wear deodorant, moisturiser, perfume or makeup.
Don't wear your best underwear, it could get stained.
Bring dark, loose clothing for afterwards.
Please note - moisturiser acts as a barrier to the tanning solution, be careful using bodywashes containing high levels of moisturisers before your tan as this can affect the tanning process.
